ATTENTION ECONOMY STYLEFRAMES

the brief

I was tasked with designing 4 styleframes for the phrase, "Attention Economy". "Attention Economy" is the idea that tech companies profit by monetizing the time and attention users spend on their smartphones, employing addictive psychological strategies to encourage constant engagement with their applications. Each frame somehow communicates the idea of "Attention Economy" in a different graphic style.

Exploration was a big part of this project! I really wanted to push outside my comfort box. My favorite part was experimenting with a scanner, paper, and ziplocks then compositing it all in Photoshop. I had several iterations come out of this project, here are just a few of my favorite explorations!
